We are using affinity tagging and immunoprecipitation combined with mass spectrometry to study the HIV-1-host interaction map. This project, headed by Dr. Nevan Krogan, aims to define sets of validated host factors involved in different stages of HIV pathogenesis, which will provide new targets for structural characterization.
