Dr. Krogan uses high-throughput mass spectrometry and genetic approaches to examine interactions of entire proteomes, as well as rigorous computational analyses to evaluate data quality. His lab is focused on generating large-scale quantitative genetic and physical interaction maps in different organisms, and Dr. Krogan's studies in yeast both innovated new methodology and provided insights into the organization of the cell cycle, chromatin structure and remodeling, transcriptional programs, the function of the proteosome and other key processes. Dr. Krogan co-directs the HARC Center Mass Spectrometry and Protein Expression Core.
